Sabercat Stars
By: Hanna Kisvarday

For our lady Sophomore Student of the Quarter, Kaygen Sharboneau has all the
qualities of a star student. Using only three words to describe herself she says she is
independent, stubborn, and hardworking. Kaygen expresses these golden qualities in
her response of her idea of a perfect day.
She says “My idea of a perfect day is when
everything goes as planned and no one or
thing messes up my schedule.” When
asked why she thought she was chosen as
student of the quarter she replied,
“Honestly I have no idea, but because I’m
trying to do great things.” While Kaygen is
out trying to do great things she also likes
to spend some time listening to music. She
says her favorite band is Glass Animals
because, “they have a way of calming me
down, bringing out the real me, and
expressing what they are trying to say
differently.” Her favorite song by them is
called Gooey. Dreams of becoming a
physical therapist or a model were what
she thought about when she was little, but
she also thought of her favorite childhood tv
show, “Curious George.” Her greatest accomplishment consists of working on her
health. She states, “My proudest accomplishment was when I lost 20 pounds. I was 160
pounds in 7th grade. I almost got down to 139 pounds by my eighth grade summer.”
To leave us with something to hold onto, Kaygen says she wants to be
remembered as a leader, “I would like to inspire people in doing whatever seems
impossible, because nothing is impossible.” Thank you Kaygen, for a being a true
example of what a sabercat star student really is.
