Mannequin Challenge Macbeth Style

Students in Mrs. Jauregui’s AP Literature class have been covering Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Students were put into groups and asked to pick lines from Act III that they felt were important to that scene. Together, the students created a tableau. There assignment was to creatively showcase the mood, tone, and importance of the scene through this assignment, but had to follow the rules of a tableau, no talking and no moving. To earn the points in the creativity section of the rubric students dressed up, brought in props, and used background music to enhance the overall effect of the lines they chose to demonstrate.
