HOA Fall Festival

-Lynnsey Arant-

The HOA Fall Festival was not only a success but a blast! It was filled with timeless laughs and wonderful food. San Tan Foothills offered a bunch of help as well, five of our own school organizations lent a hand. Not only did we bring our support but we brought our positive attitudes as well! The Fall Festival consisted of a trunk-or-treat, train rides, bouncy houses, a bouncy house racing area, and a bouncy house arena where you could release your stress from school and knock over other people. There were various attractions for the kids to play at and lots of booths that sold goodies and hand-made items. There was also lots and lots of food!

Student Council started setting up for the Fall Festival as early as 8 a.m. before the actual festival started which was at 10.  The Sophomore Student Council class sold brownies, candied apples, popcorn, and cookies while the Senior class sold “Worms in dirt.” The FBLA team was in charge of selling cotton candy along with Student Council, while HOSA sold hamburgers, nachos, root beer floats, and candy. Our lovely Pom team was selling ‘Paracord bracelets’ which were meant to help fundraise money for their competition that was coming up. They also face painted and even performed two dance routines.

The Fall festival started to unwind around 2:30 p.m. and fully ended at 4 p.m. Even though it was a draining and long day, it was worth it. Everyone had such a wonderful time and our leaders from San Tan Foothills really knocked the socks off the guests with all the amazing food we made. Thank you for all the fun and let’s make next year's even better!
