I never really knew you that much
Only that you were a man
Only that you were a strong man
Only that you were my strong man
I never really talked to you that much
Only when we were alone
Only when we fought alone
I never really appreciated you
Only when you bought me stuff
Only when you bought us stuff
Only when you bought everyone stuff
I never knew how amazing you were
Only in photographs
Only in stories
Only in memories
I never thanked you for being there
Only when you held my hand
Only when you made me laugh
Only in a silent prayer
I never told you how much I loved you
Only when I was alone
Only when we were alone
Only when you never came home.

What do I do when I'm alone?
Sit in silence..... In my head
Wishing I could sleep when I lie awake in bed
Laugh at a silly word I made up on my own
Think about eating but don't
Wanting to call you but I won't
Shivering as the tears fall
Questioning if it really was worth it all
Rolling over and checking my cell
Watching things that'll send me to hell
Cut myself and the tears stop
Out of bed I hop
To the window I float out and stumble
To the bridge you said you'd jump off
I spit on passing cars
Hanging from the bars
Knowing one day I will die
And then I won't have to
cry.

Eyes blinked countless times to stop a teardrop from falling,
Fear wrapped her being as her courage vanished,
She was scared and alone,
But she knew it was meant to be that way.
Unwanted thoughts came swirling like a tornado,
she kept asking herself why, why,
Why did she took the risk when she knew how big the consequences was.
All she knew was that it was all a mistake, a big mistake.
Every decision she made was a mistake.
Her kind smile was a mistake.
Believing that everything will turn out ok was a mistake.
Believing in a lie is a mistake when reality and pain has been present throughout..
With a single laughter, came a greater consequences to face,
Was it a fault to smile a little bit?
Was it a fault to think that the day will be a rainbow?
The answer was always a yes
Even a tiny though of a smile in her lips
Can create a disaster.
She couldn’t stop it,
How can she when all she knew was that no one will ever help
A nobody.
They wouldn’t understand because they were never in her shoes.
They are coming and she couldn't do anything to stop it,
She sat there waiting to be taken,
Waiting to die.

What pain has brought
is only fear
it's love we've sought
but found no one dear
they say wait
but i run past
hoping i'm not too late
to get a glimpse of what should last
do i belong I ask
maybe i'll get strong
finish this task
see where i go
won't lie to myself
i should know
in time itself
what pain has brought
is only fear
i hope this thought
will disappear
