Spring Break

- Taylor Lopez

Spring Break, a time where we can do whatever we want. Finally we can sleep in, hangout with friends and family, and not have a care in the world. Personally, this is one of my favorite times of the school year. I go to L.A. to visit all of my family and we have huge parties on the beach, I get to tan and it is so much fun. If you have ever been to Santa Monica, you know that there is a little amusement park basically on the beach. If you have never been I highly recommend going if you ever visit California. I could go on and on about things to do for Spring Break this year but let's be realistic, maybe you want to go on a road trip, or maybe you want to go visit some colleges you are interested in. But usually, the average teenager just sleeps, eats, and watch tv all day and night.

Living in Arizona, it gets hot right away. We’re looking at 100+ degree weather and most people like to go swimming to cool off or any activities including water. I love going to this place up in Chandler called Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center and it has this thing called  the ‘lazy river” and what you do is sit in a big swimming ring and go round and round for as long as you want and as you go around, there are these buckets that dump water on you to keep you nice and cool. It is also extremely cheap. It is only a dollar to get in if you are seventeen years old or younger. I don’t know about you, but 1$ is an amazing price to pay to play in a aquatic center all day.  Most importantly, remember to stay out of trouble Sabercats and have an amazing Spring Break!!!
