An exciting event that took place this year was the first annual “Mr. Foothills”.  Many of our fellow male classmates competed in a so called “male beauty pageant” to receive the title of Mr. Foothills.  This included pick-up lines, talents, questionnaires, and terrible date etiquette.  Antonio Trujillo, Sebastion Penaflor, Dominick “Poland” Ciborski, Brandon Suyeto, DeRonte “Byrd” Pope, Benny Ornelas, all fought hard but fell to none other than Tristan Prado.  Tristan might have to credit his victory to his invigorating dance routine and his techniques on making a terrible date into a, “not so terrible date”.  Both of which had the audience in outbursts of laughter; it was clear who our Mr, Foothills was.  Although all of our contestants put up a good contest, they were no match for the man, the myth, the legend, Tristan Prado.
