This year (2016-17) San Tan foothills baseball team has made quite a fuss, and this team deserves to be talked about. The Sabercats Baseball team led by Coach Sutterby has the “will to win and a never quit attitude” says Coach Sutterby. This season isn’t quite like other seasons, this is one for the record books. Overall breaking multiple records such as 21 games won and only 6 losses, made playoffs, and 16 game win streak. Not to forget that the team won region champion after winning all region games.

            When the coach was asked if there were any star players or anybody that did outstanding he replied with “The whole team did fantastic” he then explained how during the 16 game winning streak multiple players had to step up every single game to keep the streak going.

            It’s obvious that this team has gotten better since last year. “It was a pleasure to work with kids that wanted to get better, that got to practice everyday and worked with a will to win and learn, and the best part was that they worked as a team” Coach Sutterby explains when he was asked if he had any thing he wanted to say about the baseball team. All that’s left to know is how they perform in the playoffs. San Tan Foothills wishes the Baseball team the best of luck.
