Photography Students Develop Life Skills

Do you like to take photos? Do you have a knack for using programs such as photoshop? Would
you like to go to competitions for the photos you have taken or even edited? Well, here is
your chance! SkillsUSA is a premier student organization. You are a member once you join the Dr. Snow's Photography
class. SkillsUSA fluctuates between 18-20 members.

Dr. Snow serves as the San Tan Foothills Chapter Advisor for SkillsUSA. As the Chapter Advisor, he says “I enjoy it immensely”. Dr. Snow has many goals for SkillsUSA. He states, “The common goals and objectives I have set are to promote and develop leadership skills in all of my students.” He wants to teach his students about personal responsibility and responsibility to others. He wants his students to develop integrity and to learn how to work cooperatively.

When asked what his best memories are he is proud to confess, “My students winning their state competitions,
graduating and moving on to college.” He says that some of the students' best memories are the goals that they have accomplished as well as the friends they have made.
