In our column ‘Service Appreciation’ the Sabercat Chronicle gives spotlight to the roles to which are commonly dismissed. We’ve covered the school’s secretary, security guards, etc. But who we haven’t covered yet is our lunch lady, Heather Turcotte. Everyone overlooks the role of a lunch lady and we wanted to break the cycle. There are some facts about Ms. Turcotte so you can get to know the beauty and brains behind our creative lunches! Outside of school she is a wife and a mother and if she could have one superpower it would be to transport. Turcotte is a friendly, funny and generous person who loves animals. The thing she admires most about her job is being around kids and she loves being around women that have jobs and take charge all the while taking care of their families. Be sure to give thanks to our lunch ladies for your food and have a wonderful break Sabercats!
